Fundraising

Through our fundraising efforts, including Baldwin Blooms, the holiday wreath sale, spirit gear sales, and bake sales, Friends of Baldwin supports:

annual grants for classroom teachers and teachers in Visual Arts, Music, P.E. and Library;
class field trip and grade-level activities, e.g. JK/K trip to the Discovery Museum; 5th grade trip to Nature's Classroom, where kids can "think outside the books"; 2nd grade yoga;
school-wide enrichment events, e.g. Pajama Storytelling Night and author visits
community get togethers, e.g. Welcome Back Popsicle Party, and the Fall Fun Run

Friends of Baldwin events are a chance for families to meet and get to know one another. We're brainstorming ideas for remote and in-person activities. Let us know if you have any event ideas to share! In years past, some of our annual community events included:

FALL

Fall Fun Run

A fun day at Sacramento Field, filled with activities for the kids, game swap and clothing drive. The highlight of the afternoon is a Fun 1-mile Run around Sacramento field and the Baldwin School.

WINTER

Pat's Peak Ski Trip

Baldwin families head to Pat's Peak for a fun day of early-Spring skiing. Beginners, new enthusiasts, and season veterans take to the slopes, with a chance to come together with other Baldwin families during a scheduled lunch break.

SPRING

Baldwin Blooms

Friends of Baldwin's annual community celebration and auction fundraiser. A time for the Baldwin community to get together and have fun while raising money for the school through raffles and a silent auction for the school.
