The HPE Best Poster Paper Award will be presented to four best posters (two Honours Projects and two Capstone Projects) which are considered to have the highest quality and innovation from the HPE Student Conference 2024. The Award, evaluation criteria, Award Committee composition, nomination, and selection procedures are described below.

I. Eligibility
All the poster papers presented for the HPE Student Conference 2024 are eligible for this award.

II. Award Committee
The Award Committee is formed by all HPE staff members. 

III. Selection procedure
The Award Committee will rank the poster papers. The Award will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Originality: The project is innovative and constructively engages with new or complex problems.

• Methodological rigour: The project uses robust and appropriate methods to address the research/ practical question.

• Significance: The project makes an important contribution to the advancement of knowledge and practice in Physical Education/ Sport Science.

IV. Award presentation
The Award will be officially announced at closing ceremony of the HPE Student Conference and the winner will be called to the stage. A Certificate of Recognition will be presented by the Chairman of the Award Committee.
