Title: Developing a Skill Test Kit for Sitting Light Volleyball
Abstract
Purposes: This project aims to develop a skill test kit for Sitting Light Volleyball (SLVB) to assess the skill level of SLVB players and promote SLVB. People with physical disabilities (PWPI) who have relatively low mobility capabilities always have insufficient physical activity options. SLVB is a newly developed adapted sports providing additional option to PWPI and bringing physical and mental benefits to players. There is potential to further develop SLVB. Besides, traditional sports such as table tennis and badminton in Hong Kong have developed Badges Award Scheme to grade the skill level of athletes. Therefore, the production of SLVB skill test kit is of great significance to facilitate its development. Methodology: The SLVB skill tests were designed by modifying the existing volleyball skill tests into SLVB version. There are 4 SLVB skills, and each with 3 levels of tests to classify the skill level of players. All tests have text descriptions, diagrams and videos showing the procedures and settings. The scoring rubrics and evaluation were included in the kit, so the users know whether they passed the tests and achieved the levels. Conclusion: The SLVB skill test kit contributes to facilitate the development of SLVB. It would also be the resources for SLVB coaches, the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China (VBAHK), and the organization conducting SLVB activities or training.

Title: Developing Yoga Teaching Kit For Secondary School Physical Education
Abstract
Background & Purpose In recent years, the stress level of students in Hong Kong has beenreported at an increasing rate due to high expectations for their academic results. Yoga has a huge potential to teach kids to be aware of things that affect their health and improve their overall physical and mental well-being because it is a worldwide relaxation and mindfulness exercise. However, it is worth noting that many teachers today may have limited knowledge about yoga. To address this issue, a yoga teaching kit was developed for secondary school physical education(PE) teachers to teach in class. This project aims to create an inclusive and engaging yoga teaching package for school PE teachers in Hong Kong, promoting physical and mental well-being while reducing stress levels in students. By offering an alternative to typical PE lessons, the initiative hopes to encourage a positive attitude towards yoga and physical activity among secondary school students, leading to a more active and healthy lifestyle in the long term. Methodology The common yoga poses were drafted in this booklet for tryouts. Evaluation was conducted through post-test questionnaires for students and one-to-one interviews with teachers for feedback. Based on the feedback, level of difficulties of the poses and sequences of the poses were reconstructed. Design This booklet includes two sessions to guide PE teachers in teaching yoga. Session one includes the common yoga poses, such as Standing & Twisting Postures, Balancing Postures, Hips & Spine & Core Postures and some Inversions & Advanced Postures. Session two includes some suggested yoga sequences for teaching in class. Moreover, this yoga teaching kit is provided with posture photos, descriptions, and video demonstrations, with flexible options for teachers to select appropriate postures. Conclusion In conclusion, adding yoga into school PE lessons was found to be a possible way to reduce students' anxiety levels. Students have expressed that they feel more relaxed, stress-free and physically fit after trying yoga lessons at school. This yoga teaching kit is expected to provide Hong Kong PE teachers some basic understanding of yoga education, while aiming to further promote the incorporation of yoga in schools.

Title: Volleyball Injury Prevention Training Manual for primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong
Abstract
Purposes: According to the Olympic Program Commission, Volleyball has become the second highest popular sports worldwide, with over 900 million fans including indoor and beach volleyball (Complex, 2021). Volleyball is a non-contact sport, yet it involves rapid and forceful movements. Because of the large forces involved, it is inevitable that injuries may occur. Injuries in volleyball practice and games occur at an injury incidence rate of 3.0 per 1000 hours of play (Verhagen et al., 2004). Whether mild or severe, injuries can be detrimental to an athlete’s career or a person’s daily life. Therefore, injury prevention is crucial for every volleyball player. Research has shown both acute and overuse injuries in volleyball are mostly attributed to jumping, landing, hitting, blocking movements (Sole et al., 2017). The most common volleyball injuries are shoulder, knee and ankle injuries (Volleyball Injuries in Kids | Children’s Hospital Colorado, n.d.). The aim of this training manual is to provide volleyball players in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong an injury prevention guideline to reduce the risk of shoulder, knee and ankle injuries in volleyball training and competition. Also, this training manual aims to raise the awareness of primary and secondary school physical education teachers and coaches on the types of injuries, and accordingly advise their players how to avoid injuries in volleyball before they occur. The design of the Volleyball Injury Prevention Training Manual involves careful consideration of the needs of volleyball players and coaches. The program includes specific strengthening, balance, coordination exercises with video demonstrations designed to prevent common injuries in volleyball. The handbook also provides guidance on proper dynamic warm-up routines in order to reduce the risk of injuries in volleyball. Conclusion: In conclusion, this training manual is believed to reduce injury risk of primary and secondary school volleyball players in order to further facilitate the volleyball development in Hong Kong.
