Title: Life Survival Swimming Skills Teaching Kits for Primary School Students
Abstract
Purposes: As drowning is still one of the most prevalent causes of accidental death in children, being able to swim is a vital life survival skill that all should start to learn at a young age. Therefore, it is important to enhance the overall swimming abilities among local primary school children and educate them with adequate water safety concepts and specific life survival swimming techniques. The teaching kit is designed for primary school PE teachers and swimming coaches to spice the lessons with more application activities to help create interesting and practical lessons for school children, especially for students with no prior swimming experience. Methodology: This project has designed a 28-lesson kit. The course has four stages: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. This project invited a local swimming club to implement the pilot course for approximately six months and invited their primary school students as participants to evaluate the plan’s effectiveness and feasibility. The participants were allocated to two groups based on their previous learning experiences and abilities: beginner and intermediate. Before the lesson, the course content is expected to teach the beginner basic swimming skills with games, and the intermediate group can practice more with technical drills. The pilot course also invited coaches and PE teachers to evaluate the course based on the content and design. Results: The participants can successfully perform specific swimming techniques at each stage using relevant concepts. Participated students and parents generally reflected that the course is effective and valuable in real life as they can apply the skills and concepts learned from it. After reviewing the content, the games and demonstration videos may vary according to their group abilities. Common mistakes are added in the demonstration videos for more detailed explanations of the techniques. More team-based games are also added to increase participants’ engagement and interaction. Conclusion: The project is a ‘step-to-step’ guide for PE teachers and swimming coaches to conduct a course to equip primary school students with lifelong water safety concepts and survival swimming skills. The kit can help educate children on the importance of water safety and teach them swimming techniques to reduce accidents and build up their water confidence to enjoy water fun for life.

Title: Handball injury manual focused on lateral ankle sprain and associated rehab and pre-game warm-up program
Abstract
Purpose: Previous studies have found that the most frequent injuries in handball players occur on the court, with the highest rate being approximately 82.2% within Olympic sports. These studies have also identified that the greatest number of injuries are located in the lower extremities, particularly the ankle. However, it is still extremely rare to see players training to reduce the risk of recurrence, especially those who lack the knowledge or resources to deal with such injuries. Therefore, the aim of this project is to provide a comprehensive guidebook that includes a complete rehabilitation process and pre-game warm-up specifically tailored for handball players. This guidebook will serve as a valuable resource during their training. Methodology: Design the guidebook, upload it to a website, and give it to the local handball team as a tool during the training. In addition, a three-week experiment was conducted involving ten amateur handball players. They were divided into two groups: one group implemented the structured warm-up involving five elements: cardiovascular, proprioceptive and balance, agility, and plyometric; the other group implemented the elementary warm-up. Result: The results indicate that the structured warm-up group notably reduced the risk of injury during the match in comparison to the elementary warm-up group. Conclusion: In conclusion, the structured warm-up was found to effectively prevent ankle injuries in players during the match and requires further study to determine the long-term effects on injury prevention.

Title: Online Table Tennis Autism Teaching Kit
Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this website is to address the lack of curriculum programs and teaching materials available for students with autism in the community today. Considering that students with autism have different needs and learning objectives in physical education compared to other students, physical education teachers in special schools face more challenges in developing curriculum plans for autistic students than their counterparts in general physical education. The lack of teaching resources for reference further compounds the difficulty, leading to the issue of autistic students being unable to effectively learn in physical education programs. Therefore, it is crucial to provide an online teaching kit that can serve as a valuable resource for physical education teachers when instructing students with autism. The aim of this teaching kit is to encourage active participation among students while enhancing the overall classroom experience. Methodology: The web page will be designed with a ping pong ball theme, and all teaching materials will be organized by title and made available on the website. These teaching materials will include game clips, reference classroom designs, social stories, and visual cue cards. Upon completion of the webpage, a trial run will be conducted with selected physical education teachers from special schools to assess the feasibility of the entire set of teaching materials and gauge the response of autistic students. Results: Once the webpage is completed, a trial run will be conducted with selected physical education teachers from special schools to assess the feasibility of the entire set of teaching materials and gauge the response of autistic students. Conclusion: To provide special schoolteachers with teaching materials for online dance lessons and to incorporate socialization training through online table tennis lessons, thereby helping to enhance the socialization skills of mildly mentally handicapped students and moderately mentally handicapped students.

Title: The offensive method on the basketball court - half-court coordination between two and three players
Abstract
Purposes: The current explanations of basketball offensive play in Hong Kong at all levels are limited to oral narration, use of tactical boards, demonstrations and regular trainings for basketball players to learn. Players’ acquisition of offensive play was not systematic. Therefore, primary and secondary school students do not have a deep understanding of offensive player, especially using motion offense against the man-to-man defense. In addition, most primary and secondary school basketball players in Hong Kong do not have enough training to accumulate enough experience, which has led to current primary and secondary school basketball coaches preferring to use zone defense to train players' defense. This has resulted in players on the primary and secondary basketball courts only focusing on completing the tactics assigned by the coach to deal with zone defense, ignoring the technical development of individual players and cooperation of motion offense. This is a vicious cycle. Players are limited in basketball concepts and skills. When players face higher-level competitions, their adaptability is even worse. Methodology: This textbook is a visual learning material. It mainly uses first-person vision as the focus of explanation, focusing on the technical details that need to be paid attention to in the cooperation of two to three people in the half-court attack on the basketball court. As for text materials, we mainly use third-person vision pictures and text to explain the timing and concepts of using this technology. At the end of this textbook, there will be a series of training methods for coaches/teachers to refer to, teaching primary and secondary school students to master the two- to three-man half-court offense. Includes: game practice, passing technical details and concepts, and positioning training for two to three people. I hope to design a visual learning teaching material for reference by Hong Kong primary and secondary school basketball players and coaches. Using the vision of different persons makes it easier for players to master the coordination skills of two to three players. In addition, the teaching materials will be displayed on the web page, and players can watch and study in their free time. By increasing the number of visual learning, the players' experience on the basketball court will be improved, and they can make correct offensive choices on the fierce and fast-paced basketball court.
