Lydia T.S Yee obtained her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Psychology at the University of Champaign. Before joining EdUHK, she completed her postdoctoral training at the Institution of Dementia Research in Magdeburg, Germany. Her research focuses on cognitive memory with a particular interest in long-term declarative memory and working memory.

HO Yan Lam is a Doctoral Student and Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Early Childhood Education at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Yan completed her Master of Arts in Music Education (MAME) with distinction and dean’s honour list in 2019. She is currently pursuing her EdD in Early Childhood Education at EdUHK. Her supervisor is Dr. Alfredo Bautista. Her dissertation portfolio explores the music pedagogical practices in Hong Kong kindergartens. Yan is interested in music education, music psychology, curriculum and pedagogical practices, and teacher professional development in early childhood. She has given presentations at several conferences in Education. She is a member of the International Society for Music Education (ISME). She likes playing cello and listening to music.

Hades received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After ten years of work as a Corporate trainer, Outward Bound Instructor, Secondary School Vice-Principal and Playgroup teacher, he started to pursue the postgraduate in Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. He is interested in character education in early childhood. He likes sports, especially water sports.

Jerry YEUNG is from Hong Kong. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from The University of Hong Kong, and he is currently a PhD student in the Department of Early Childhood Education. Prior to studying his doctoral degree, he worked as a Research Assistant in several research projects in Hong Kong. Trained as a Kindergarten Teacher and Special Childcare Worker, Jerry is interested in Arts and Creativity and Teacher Professional Development within Early Childhood Education settings. Apart from academic life, he loves traveling, hiking, water sports, and playing table tennis.
