Video Production I

One Semester, 1/2 Credit

This course is an introduction to digital video production, offering students an opportunity to experience the magic of movie making from start to finish. The class will explore the basics of script writing, production design, cinematography, sound design, and editing. Students will have the opportunity to write, design, shoot, and edit a short film while gaining a base knowledge of the entire production process.

Video Production II

One Semester, 1/2 Credit

Prerequisite: Video Production I

Building on the skills learned in Video Production I, this class allows each student to further explore the art of creating visual stories. On personalized timelines with an individualized focus, each student can produce, shoot, and edit a silent film, music video, and scripted short.
