Jason Hanline earned his M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and his BA in English from the University of North Georgia. While in college, he took as many courses on film as were offered at the time regardless of whether or not they counted as credit toward his degree. He has also appeared in and worked on several short independently produced films. To prepare for teaching AV Tech and Film, he too the Georgia Film Academy Teacher Training and has been copiously researching and studying the filmmaking process in order to attempt to create a studio-like program that emulates the production process used by the professional film industry.
