The IAT Conference is a conference that is held in Ankeny at the Iowa FFA Enrichment Center. The IAT Conference is divided into three different conferences Ignite, Amplify, and Transform. These conferences are held by current and past state officers.
Chase Sorenson had the privilege of attending the Next Gen: Environmental Services and Natural Resources Conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Chase got to attend many different workshops and exciting tours. Chase is also attending the Plant Systems Conference in Orlando, FL, from March 4th-8th, 2025.
We had six of our members partake in the legislative Conference. We got to meet with our district Representative Henry Stone. Mr. Stone gave us a personal tour of the capitol building while also teaching about how our states government works.
Grant Wooge was our only senior this year who was recognized from our chapter for his academic achievement. Grant earned this award by being able to keep a cumulative 3.50 GPA higher.
We had four our Freshmen take part in the NC District Greenhand Fireup in Fort Dodge Iowa. This taught our four freshmen different learning opportunities, how to become leaders, and how to be successful.
We had four members attend the NC District Convention. Aalyiah Wicke and Nevaeh Stevenson competed in Chapter Program. Peyton Klein and Sailor Anderson were both delegates.
Aubrey Schnebly, Sailor Anderson, and Skyla Groves took part in Courtesy Corp at state convention. These members were able to represent their chapter by serving the Iowa FFA Association.
Elle Lewis and Sailor Anderson served as voting delegates at the Iowa FFA State Convention. These members sat in on an official business session, where they were able to take part in electing the next state officers.
We had twelve members attend the 97th annual FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis Indiana, this convention held on the dates October 23rd-26th.
