"I’m interested in serving as a Family Representative because I believe a school’s quality is shaped by how seriously it takes the voices of the families it serves. As an FMA parent, a former middle school principal, and a doctoral student at Harvard Graduate School of Education, preparing for district-level leadership, I want to help ensure family perspectives actually reach the table where decisions are made. I’d bring a commitment to listening before advocating, a willingness to ask questions that move past the public answer, and a belief that the people closest to the work hold diagnostic information leadership needs."

I want to help be a resource and/or sounding board for anyone who may need it. I am a life long Cambridge resident. I love my city and community. It is a great place to live, learn and experience the sense of family and community. I want my grandchildren and all FMA children and families to feel the same. At the same time, I understand that our students have wide-ranging needs and our families have various viewpoints; I will aim to honor this diversity of perspectives in the school committee's discussions.
