Force Quit Apps

1. Click on the Apple Menu in the upper left of the screen.

2. Select Force Quit.

3. In the pop up window, select the app you want to quit.

4. Click on the blue "Force Quit" button.

*If app is still not closing, try restarting your Mac.

Force your Mac to turn off

1. Press and hold the power button on your Mac for 10 seconds.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Press and hold the power button until the Mac restarts.
