Click on the Apple Menu in the upper left of the screen.
Select Force Quit.
The force quit window will appear.
Select the name of the unresponsive app form the list.
Click Force Quit.
A pop-up window will appear. Click Force Quit from that window.
Press and hold the ESC+Option+Command Keys at the same time.
The force quit window will appear.
Select the name of the unresponsive app form the list.
Click Force Quit.
A pop-up window will appear. Click Force Quit from that window.
Click on Finder (the blue face in the dock).
Click on Applications on the left sidebar.
Double click on the Utlilities folder.
When the Utlilities folder opens up, double click on Activiy Monitor.
5. The Activity Monitor window will open with a list of active processes.
6. Find and click on the app your want to quit.
7. Click on the X button in the upper left (right above process name).
8. A pop-up window will appear. Click Quit or Force Quit.
Option 1: Press Control+Command+ Power buttons until the screen goes black. Wait 10 seconds and then press Power to restart.
Option 2: Press Control + Power buttons. A pop-up window will open asking to restart or shut down. Wait 10 seconds, then restart.
Option 3: Press Control +Option + Command + Power buttons. Force quits all app and closes the OS. Wait 10 seconds, then restart.
