Disable Stage Manager

Disable Stage Manager on MacOS 13+

Stage Manager helps you organize apps on your desktop. If Stage Manager is enabled on a device during testing, a student may be able to access apps other than the Secure Browser. 

Disable from the menu bar:

1. Click on the Control Center icon in the upper right of the screen.

2. Select Stage Manager.

3. Click on the toggle switch to turn off.

Disable from the Apple menu:

1. Click on the Apple Menu in the upper left of the screen.

2. Select System Settings.

3. Open Desktop & Dock.

4. Select Windows & Apps.

5. Toggle off the Stage Manager.
