Two non-exam assignments in each module will contain a single essay question at the end of the assignment in addition to five multiple-choice questions.
The non-exam assignments with essay questions are:
1.03, 1.07, 2.03, 2.06, 3.02, 3.03, 4.02, 4.03, 5.01, 5.03, 6.04, and 6.06.
It’s a good idea to have all of your materials (notes, paper, pencil, calculator) ready before starting the exam and be sure to allow 30-60 minutes minimum to complete the assessment.
To score well on the essay questions students must answer all parts of the question, show all of the work, and when asked to explain they need to provide details that support their answer.
All responses must be typed into the essay box; attachments, videos, and audio responses will not be accepted. You may use MathType to write math symbols.
The final grade for this assignment will be calculated once the instructor grades the essay question.
Resets should not be attempted until the assignment has been fully graded and review of the relevant feedback and content completed.
All non-exam assignments not listed above consist of multiple choice questions only and will be automatically graded in full once the assignment has been submitted.
All work must be original in nature. The use of artificial intelligence, or outside web sources is prohibited and will cause the exam to be locked, flagged for review, and the student may lose access to their course.
At the end of every module there is a module exam. These module exams consist of 14 questions; 12 multiple choice and 2 essay response.
The password to the module exam can only be obtained after all assignments in the module have been completed and the module DBA successfully completed with a score of 60% or higher.
It’s a good idea to have all of your materials (notes, paper, pencil, calculator) ready before starting the exam, and be sure to allow 45-75 minutes minimum to complete the exam.
Allowing the exam to sit idle or opening other tabs on your computer can cause the exam to lock you out.
Essay questions generally consist of multiple parts and each part is worth a certain number of points.

The single final exam for each segment is divided into two parts.
Each part contains 15 multiple-choice questions and is automatically graded upon submission.
If a student’s overall average on the exam falls below 60% they will have one opportunity to ask for a reset of the part of the exam that they scored the lowest on. Remediation must be completed before the reset can be done.
Once a student begins either part of the exam they cannot go back and reset or redo any previous assignments. If an assignment is redone after beginning the segment exam its grade will be manually returned to the prior score before the final grade for the segment is issued.
