Academic integrity is a core value and universal expectation at Florida Virtual School (FLVS). Academic integrity ensures that a student's work is genuine and reflects their true understanding. A student who upholds academic integrity ensures their work is authentic and honest. When students register for FLVS courses, they agree all work will be their own and that they will follow the academic integrity policy. Refer to the parent/student handbook for more information.
Academic Integrity means:
Your work on each assignment will be entirely your own.
Any collaboration with classmates on assignments will be pre-approved by your instructor.
You will not engage in any form of plagiarism.
You will not allow others to copy your work.
You will not misuse content from the Internet which includes. but is not limited to, the use of Google, answer sites, and generative artificial intelligence sites (see below).
