SWITCHED serves families and kids with various motor and/or visual impairments that impact their ability to play with traditional toys. We do this by providing instructions and help with the adaptation process. SWITCHED adapted toys was started in 2018 by Pascale's Pals in Columbia, Missouri. Two physical therapists founded SWITCHED when they saw the need for easier access to switch adapted toys. Many of the children they treated did not have toys to play with at home and even heard parents say “they can’t play” about their children with motor impairments. It has since been our mission to make play possible for all children. SWITCHED has now spread to other sites across the country.
