The Fitchburg Public Schools Kindergarten program is a full day program for all students. Kindergarten students will attend the South Street Early Learning Center
All Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age by September 1st, 2024. Students whose dates of birth are between September 2, 2018 and September 1, 2019 are eligible to enroll for the 2024-2025 school year.
Kindergarten enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year will begin on April 1, 2024.
All Kindergarten students must be 5 years of age by September 1st, 2023. Students whose dates of birth are between September 2, 2017 and September 1, 2018 are eligible to enroll for the 2023-2024 school year.
Step 1: Complete the online registration form. To do so, click here or navigate to the Online Enrollment page of the enrollment website.
Step 2: Receive confirmation from the Enrollment Center that your child's enrollment has been completed.
Step 3: Schedule a Kindergarten screening. All of our kindergartners are screened prior to entering the classroom to ensure they are placed in a classroom that will best fit their educational needs. All screenings are conducted by South Street Early Learning Center teachers and staff. More information about screenings will be provided here at a later date.
