LAB 21

LAB (short for Learn-Apply-Build) 21, one of two 6th grade exploratory classes, introduces students to CTE (Career & Technology Education) and aims to build the college & career-ready skills that will help students be successful in the 21st century. Among these skills are: creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration.

This STEM course is delivered with a project-based learning (PBL) approach. Each unit starts with a driving question followed by teacher and student-directed exploration to generate a final product or artifact that represents what students have learned during the unit. Units of study include:
