Description: The Pre-Engineering program allows FCPS 8th grade students a first look at Career and Technical Education in the Industrial Technology field. The program uses project-based learning to relate technology to students' daily lives and give students some experience in the Industrial Technology fields. Students will use mathematics, science, and technology integration to develop a foundation of skills for high school and post-secondary success. The class focuses on three central units: (1) Design and Modeling, (2) Automation and Robotics, and (3) Energy and the Environment.
