How are small group/Resource classes working this year with the new schedule?
This year, we are on a very different schedule compared to last year. How the small group/resource classes are going to work are very much the same. If your child has a resource math, Mrs. Ware will pull them into a separate class for the entire 85 minute period. If your child has a resource language arts/reading, your child will come with me for the last 40 minutes of their language arts and reading class. For the first 45 minutes of that class we will be in a collaboration setting with another Language Arts teacher and a reading interventionist. We will work on skills and skill gaps in that class and read together. Then we will break apart and I will re-mediate and work with students on writing and reading assignments.

Case manager Info 2019-2020 School Year
In addition to having your child in resource language arts, I will also have them in science, social studies, math, and Language Arts/ Reading. In addition, I will be your child's case manager for the 2019-2020 school year. Below is the copy of a letter I mailed home at the beginning of the year to the mailing address on file for your child. Please let me know if the meeting date on your form or from my personal contact with you will not work. We are required to tentatively schedule all meetings at the beginning of the year per our Special Education District rules. Thank you for all that you do, and I look forward to working with you and your child in the 2019-2020 school year!
