I am so excited to be a Fannin Rebel. This will be my 16th year teaching. I graduated from Young Harris College with an Associates Degree In Liberal Arts, then continued my education at Kennesaw State University where I received a Bachelors Degree of Science in Early Childhood Education. (P-5) I also hold Georgia Certifications in Middle Grades Reading (4-8) and Middle Grades English Language Arts (4-8) as well as a Reading Endorsment (P-12). I look forward to an amazing year of learning and growing with our students.

This is my 14th year in education and my 5th year at Fannin Middle School. Previously, I have taught grades 4th and 5th. I have coached Varsity soccer at Adairsville High School and Fannin High School, and in 2019 I was named 2019 region boys soccer coach of the year. I have my Bachelors of Arts in Middle Grades Education from Reinhardt College where I also played soccer as a student. I am certified to teach Middle Grades 4-8 in social studies, science, and I am certified to teach Physical Education P-12.

I am a Fannin County native, and I am a fifth generation educator. This will be my sixth year teaching. I am a 2008 FCHS graduate and earned my Bachelors in English with a secondary education certification in 2013. In 2016 I graduated my Masters of Science in Special Education from Walden University, and in May of 2019 I earned my Educational Specialists Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.
