I am a Fannin County High graduate. I attended Brenau University where I played basketball for 4 years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. I am currently with Piedmont University with hopes to complete my Master's degree in December of this year. I have taught as a Math interventionist for 2 years at West Fannin Elementary. I have been with Fannin County Middle School teaching 7th grade Math for 6 years now. I also coach the girls basketball teams at FCMS.

Coach Ayres received his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This is his 5th year at Fannin County Schools and his 27th year overall teaching and coaching in Florida, New York, and Georgia. His teaching career has consisted of high school and middle school teaching social studies, physical education, and special education. He has coached baseball, football, basketball, and cross country during his coaching career. Coach Ayres' family consists of wife Kristal, and their children Tommy and Saira.
