The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (13-4, 9-1 CC) prepares to face Bryn Mawr (14-4, 7-3 CC) in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Playoffs on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Tylus Field.

Last Week

F&M clinched a first-round bye in the CC playoffs with a 2-1 double-overtime win over Muhlenberg Wednesday evening. Carolina Riley tallied the game-winning goal by putting in the loose ball just two minutes into the second overtime period. Faith DiMantova scored the first F&M goal off a deflection on an entry pass from Amelia McCarthy. Read the recap here.

F&M cruised to a 5-1 victory over McDaniel Saturday afternoon. Sophie Carroll and Keira Boensch scored two goals each in the win. Katie Roper recorded her first career goal on a second-quarter strike. F&M outshot McDaniel 19-5 in the contest. Read the recap here.

Last Time

Franklin & Marshall downed Bryn Mawr 3-2 on the Diplomats' Senior Day in late October. Grace Fass scored the first goal on a feed from Sophie Carroll just four minutes into the game. Avery Niedland tipped in her first goal of the season on a pass from Amelia McCarthy to put F&M up 2-0. Darby Klopp capped the Diplomats scoring by burying a shot into the open net after receiving a crossing pass from Jessica Miller. F&M sent 21 shots with 13 on goal in the win. Read the recap here.

Bryn Mawr Team Preview

Bryn Mawr advanced to the semifinals of the CC playoffs with a 4-0 win over Haverford. Forward Hazel Miller leads the Owls in points (35) and goals (13) this season. Goalkeeper Maggie Titus holds a goals-against average of 1.26. Titus also has a save percentage of 80.9 percent, the highest in the CC.
