Public Speaking

Through multiple speaking opportunities, students develop poise and confidence. They research, write, and deliver extemporaneous, demonstrative, persuasive, and informative presentations and may prepare and participate in video productions. Students work on practical communication skills in anticipation of an array of academic and career opportunities. At Minerva DeLand, public speaking students also rotate the responsibility of morning announcements.
