DANIELA SALGADO
Daniela Salgado graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Translation, earning Cum Laude honors, from The University of Texas at El Paso (El Paso, Texas, USA). While at UTEP, she worked at the University Writing Center for four years where she specialized in:
English as a Second Language writing
Brainstorming, structuring, APA/MLA citing
Technical writing
During her senior year, Daniela collaborated with the Border Servant Corps, a non-profit organization that welcomes refugees and immigrants from more than 80 countries around the world. Additionally, she worked under UTEP's Translation Services Director where she translated texts for university partners. Daniela is currently seeking to utilize her personal experiences as a first-generation Mexican American to support English-learners in the U.S. - Mexico border region. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys movies, learning languages, and engaging with her community.
