Gizmos Spotlight
Addition and subtraction with negative numbers are often difficult for students to understand. The Adding and Subtracting Integers with Chips Gizmo uses the model of positive and negative chips to make these operations much more comprehensible. It's a great Gizmo for Grade 6!
The "Phases of Water" Gizmo allows students to add or remove heat from water, and observe the phase changes that result. Students can also use the magnifier to observe water molecules in each phase. This Gizmo aligns with Science 3.
