Check-In
Besides the regular Check-in processes, make sure to pay special attention:
That the guests you're scanning are designated to your specific tour time (11:00 or 13:00).
Inform your Point-Person when you're leaving they can then send an FMT to the remaining guests.
Relationship with the museum
We work with the museum’s staff in high and low seasons, under pressure or on more relaxed days, and no matter the size of the group, it is necessary to keep a good can-do attitude at all times.
If you have a negative interaction from the museum's side, remember to stay calm and consider that those people are also under a lot of stress sometimes. Let's have empathy, patience and a spirit of collaboration. It is very important to follow the museum rules and commands at all times.
Handling spaces and guests
Our presence in the museum has to be as unintrusive as possible, and this part is all about common sense. We will avoid blocking hallways, doors, etc. and we will try to make our guests to not have to interact with any staff from the museum but the person scanning the tickets at the entrance, for this reasons we will try to follow these steps:
Ask guests to check their emails and search for the museum tickets at the last stop of our tour.
If guests have issues accessing their tickets, ask your point person.
Make them scan the review code in a quiet spot or before getting inside the museum.
Preferably use the 3rd entrance to access the museum.
Don't stay in hallways or in the middle of halls, try to always be well adapted to spaces.
Tell them they can’t go inside with a backpack or liquid containers and they have to leave it in the locker room.
Wait for them under the arches while they’re leaving their backpack. You’ll close the tour there.
If someone needs to use the toilet, this might be the best moment.
Go with the guests to the entrance of the exhibition and wait for them to get in; make sure guests have no issues while entering the exhibition.
Be sure they’re showing the right ticket because sometimes it happens they show the GoCity Pass
REMEMBER we’re not official guides and we’re not allowed to deliver content about Picasso inside the building
When closing things up, if there's space in one of the open plazas, please do the closing there so you will have more space, more light and internet connection to let them scan the QR codes
