The main resources for the courses in the main social studies sequence for high school are the ABC-Clio Solutions Data Bases for world history, American history, American government, and others; The DBQ (Document-Based Questions) Project Online, and Social Studies School Service's Active Classroom.
Most units for all grade levels include a sample social studies inquiry task that has students building an understanding of an event or issue through multiple sources of information. At the high school level, two inquiry tasks are required per semester.
