Samantha Uga, Health Assisting Instructor, is in her third year at Everett High School. She holds a Master of Nursing from Salem State University and brings clinical experience from Beth Israel Lahey Urgent Care, Massachusetts General Hospital, and her work as a school nurse in Everett.
Samantha loves preparing students for their own nursing journeys. One of her favorite activities is the hand-washing experiment in the infection control unit, where students use glow-in-the-dark “germs” to see how effective their technique really is.
A dedicated lifelong learner, Samantha made the dean’s list every semester of nursing school. Outside the classroom, she’s an avid reader with a personal goal of finishing 65 books this year. She lives by the motto: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
