Lena Nguyen, Marketing Instructor, brings five years of teaching experience—including three years at VietAid in English and enrichment instruction and two years at Everett High School. She holds a Master of Science in Marketing and brings industry experience from roles in marketing at Cambridge Scientific Products, Xemplar LLC, and CROCS, where she worked on integrated brand strategy.
Lena enjoys teaching because she knows she is making a meaningful difference in her students’ lives. She focuses on strengthening their skills, building their confidence, and pushing them to think creatively and aim beyond their goals. One of her favorite projects is a marketing agency simulation she designed, where students take on roles like social media strategist, branding lead, or creative designer and work through multiple rounds of feedback to build a polished advertisement from scratch.
Before joining EHS, Lena worked in the medical field assisting with bone resets and fracture casting, and she was part of the small U.S. team that helped grow the HEYDUDE brand. She also designs her own tattoos—a nod to her artistic side. In the workplace, she earned several peer-recognition awards, and she has been recognized by students and colleagues during EHS Teacher Appreciation.
Her guiding philosophy: Take it one day at a time. Believe in yourself. You’re capable of far more than you think.
