E-mail

All staff members, secondary pupils and older primary pupils have been provided with an e-mail address in the domain. Usually the address is for staff f.surname@europaschool.uk and for pupils fsur11@europaschool.uk, where f is the first letter of the first name, and sur, the first three of the surname, and 11 the year of graduation. This is done to protect the identity of the pupils in case they use their e-mail for outside of school purposes. (Which they shouldn't!)

NB: It is important to note that the use of this e-mail address and everything done in the gmail domain is for educational purposes. Everything is logged, and the management or system administrator have access to everything in the domain, including e-mail conversations.

You can access this account from any location with internet access, from any device. You are expected to regularly check your e-mail (at least once on a day).

Write an email

1. Open Gmail.
2. In the top left, click Compose.
3. In the "To" field, add recipients. If you want, you can also add recipients in the "cc" and "bcc" fields.
4. Add a subject.
5. Write your message.
6. At the bottom of the page, click Send.

Reply to messages

1. Open Gmail.
2. Open the message.
3. Below the message, click Reply or Reply to all.

How to add a second Google account to your Android device

1. Launch Settings from your Home screen, the app drawer, or the Notification Shade.
2. Swipe up in the Settings menu to scroll down.
3. Tap Accounts.
4. Tap Add Account.
5. Tap Google.
6. Type in your email address in the provided field. ...
7. Tap Next.
8. Type your password.

How to set up Gmail on your iPhone or iPad

1. Launch the Settings app from your Home screen.
2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, or Calendar.
3. Tap Accounts.
4. Tap on Add Account.
5. Tap on Google.
6. Enter your login information for your Google account and tap Next after each step.
