Project from the IV. Collaboration challenge - Clusters - Internationalization addresses the development of international inter-cluster cooperation on sustainable and innovative technologies and energy savings. As a result of these activities, the innovation opportunities of cluster members will be identified and developed and the results of the development and implementation of innovative technologies and applied research on foreign markets will be applied.

The project addresses acceleration of innovation, enhancement of competitiveness of the whole European Union, given regions and support of sustainable projects within implementation of innovative technology projects and last but not least development of employment.

We see the causes of the problems in the lack of awareness of innovative projects on an international scale, in insufficient creation of conditions for international exchange of experience based on inter-cluster cooperation. The aim of the project is therefore to internationalize and develop international cooperation, namely facilitating access to international databases of innovation opportunities, international network for innovation and competitiveness and last but not least the involvement of cluster members in RTD, which is a prerequisite for increasing their value on the international scale.

The implementation of the project will ensure the publicity of modern technologies at the international level for small and medium-sized enterprises, establishing cooperation with potential partners and mutual exchange of experience. Given the cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises involved in the cluster with other entities in the Czech Republic, more effective use of acquired experience and new international links can be expected.

This project will also map the needs of the membership base, improve the overview of the current situation in the EU cluster policy and identify complementary partners to complement the cluster's professional competences in order to intensify cooperation in the implementation of innovative technologies and preparation of international projects, map opportunities for cluster members to join international programs for entering foreign markets, to improve cluster management and cluster excellence, and to support the implementation of the concept of open innovation, to develop innovative sustainable technology projects in cooperation with international corporations, to strengthen the cluster brand in relation to foreign partners - raising awareness of the cluster's activities and popularizing its activities, and encouraging SMEs to develop their position in foreign markets.

The project outputs will be published through a website, social network and newsletter with a language mutation in English, as well as through a cluster collaboration platform, professional journals and as part of international events (exhibitions, workshops).
