EPC issues from the perspective of the contracting authority II subsidized by the State Program to Support Energy Savings for the period 2017-2021

the EFFECT 2 program for 2020

The publication "EPC Issues from the Perspective of the Contracting Authority II" follows the publication of the same name from 2017. The experience of the contracting authority of the Pardubice Region, which has already implemented 8 EPC projects on its assets, through which more than 300 million crowns were invested in assets, is used. A more detailed description of the publication is in point 13 (abstract of the publication), but the main inputs entering the project are experience with preparation, implementation, evaluation and last but not least (there are not many in the Czech Republic yet) and completion of EPC projects.

The author of the publication is Milan Vich, who works as an energy manager for the Pardubice Region and who prepares, coordinates and is generally responsible for these projects. The author consulted the publication and its outputs during the implementation with some experts on the issue, including Ing. Vladimir Sochor. Their feedback and their comments were incorporated within the possibilities of creating the publication.

The aim of the publication is to show those interested in EPC projects and in general those interested in increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and technologies how to implement this, including the identified advantages, disadvantages and expected pitfalls. It is also probably shown here for the first time in this publication how to proceed after the termination of a contract for the provision of energy services with a guarantee. The publication also includes a photo gallery, including several graphs. The publication has 74 pages, including a notepad for comfortable use by the reader. The number of copies is according to the project assignment 300 + the publication is available in electronic version.
