Most decisions surrounding HQSD are locally determined; individual districts will develop the processes teachers will follow to ensure HQSD measures meet the seven criteria and four uses identified in the HQSD Guidance Tool. This page is intended to offer ideas for possible exploration for non-tested subject areas.

OTES 2.0 for World Languages and Cultures
This is an official ODE page created to support World Language Teachers with OTES 2.0.
All languages/levels could use the same Performance Rubrics for common scoring, applying different Proficiency Rubrics as appropriate.
Common strands could be selected amongst languages/levels: writing, speaking, listening, reading
Rubrics include American Sign Language (ASL).

Stanford History Assessments - Beyond the Bubble
Primary Sources from Library of Congress (Classroom Materials)
This resource from the Library of Congress hosts entire lesson plans promoting the use of primary sources including resources, pacing, procedures and suggestions for evaluation. These evaluations may reference rubrics, assessments which may not be fully developed in all plans.
These resources offer full text online, digital primary sources. They are searchable by topic, era and grade level.

For grades 6-12, Ohio's ELA standards include grade-band standards mapping literacy/writing to history & social studies content areas. Teachers could use the below standards/rubrics to assess students in demonstrating mastery of subject area content.
