Living the Good Life
Join Shaye and her sister Sharita as they share their journey of how they "got where we needed to be," Living the Good Life! Shaye and her twin sister Sharita are fantastic self advocates. But like anyone, they sometimes need the support of trusted allies. Shaye and Sharita will share their story and all their fabulous experiences as they navigate their Good Life.

SHAYE TAYLOR
Shaye Taylor was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Shaye Taylor attended Cleveland Municipal Schools and graduated from Jane Addams Business Careers Center High School in June 2009. She has been a Good Life Ambassador for the Cuyahoga Board of Developmental Disabilities for three years, speaking to community groups about self-advocacy and inclusion.
Shaye is a Special Olympics Ohio athlete in figure skating and has been skating since she was four years old. She has competed in many competitions and performed in several figure skating events as a soloist and in similar pairs. She is an avid bowler with a high score of 221. Shaye works as a cashier at Marc’s and is active with several social groups. Shaye is a Good Life Ambassador for Cuyahoga for the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities and a Disabilities and LGBTQ+ advocate.
