Living the Good Life
Join Sharita and her sister Shaye as they share their journey of how they "got where we needed to be," Living the Good Life! Shaye and her twin sister Sharita are fantastic self advocates. But like anyone, they sometimes need the support of trusted allies. Shaye and Sharita will share their story and all their fabulous experiences as they navigate their Good Life.

SHARITA TAYLOR
Sharita Taylor was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, with her twin sister Shaye. Diagnosed with autism as a toddler, she attended classes at Cleveland Municipal Schools. In 2009. Sharita graduated in the top ten of her class.
Sharita is a Special Olympics athlete competing in figure skating and bowling. In 2017, Sharita competed in the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria. She has also skated several times in An Evening With Champions Figure Skating at Harvard University.
When she’s not skating, you can find Sharita hard at work as a cashier at the Home Depot or enjoying time with her friends at various social activities. Sharita is currently the president of People First Cuyahoga, an advocacy group for people with disabilities.
