Students who want to enroll in these classes are required to do the following:
Complete the required enrollment documents (by appointment) or digitally
Be administered the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) for pre-assessment in-person or remotely
Attend an HSE Pathways to Success Orientation session
Attend an advising session with your Literacy Instructor remotely
Complete 40 class contact hours or more
Complete 2-4 hours outside of class in your Distance Learning Curriculum (Essential Education)
Be administered a post-assessment in-person
Do not miss three or more absences in an 8 week cycle
Actively participate in the remote classroom.
You will need to following items to enroll into our Remote Learning
Technology Device (desktop/laptop/tablet) - Classes are through the Zoom app.
Notebook, paper, and writing utensils
Quiet place to study with no distractions

You will need to have a laptop or desktop with speakers and a camera before class starts.
You will be required to have the updated version of the Zoom software downloaded onto the device you will be using for class.
