Dear School/Center Nurse:
It is with great pleasure that the Region 7 Education Service Center has entered into a Cooperative Agreement with your ISD/Child Center to provide the Head Start/Early Head Start (HS/ EHS) program to children in your area.
The Region 7 nurses look forward to a productive relationship with you. While your school/child center provides school health services for the children, HS/ EHS provides the extended health services required by the Federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
The Early Head Start/Head Start program is a federally funded grant with mandated requirements. This notebook's contents are to assist you in performing school health tasks for the Early Head Start/ Head Start children while complying with federal requirements.
Please call or email the Head Start Nurse if you have further questions or concerns.
We look forward to serving your school/child center.
