Dear School/Center Nurse:
It is with great pleasure that the Region 7 Education Service Center has entered into a Cooperative Agreement with your ISD/Child Center to provide the Head Start/Early Head Start (HS/ EHS) program to children in your area.
The Region 7 Head Start nurses look forward to a productive relationship with you. While your school/child center provides school health services for children, HS/EHS provides the extended health services required by the Federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
The Early Head Start/Head Start program is a federally funded grant with mandated requirements. This notebook's contents are intended to assist you in performing school health tasks for Early Head Start/Head Start children while complying with federal requirements.
Please call or email the Head Start Nurse assigned to your campus if you have further questions or concerns.
We look forward to serving your school/child center.
