TEC § 37.109. SCHOOL SAFETY AND SECURITY COMMITTEE.
In accordance with guidelines established by the Texas School Safety Center, each school district shall establish a school safety and security committee.
NIMS Training for Key Staff
All District and Campus EOPs should follow NIMS principles. It is recommended that anyone serving on your district Safety and Security Committee or that has a role in your Incident Command Structure be trained in NIMS IS-100.C. It is recommended that Administrators be also trained in NIMS IS-700.a.
