Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a nationally researched based mental health training offered by Region 14 ESC. Region 14 offers several training through the year to help meet the need that all staff be trained to respond appropriately to students mental health, personal safety, and well-rounded educational needs. Youth Mental Health First Aid Onsite Training

According to Youth Mental Health First Aid national training requirements up to 40 staff can be trained either as one 8 hour training session or two 4 hour training sessions. There are four mental health agencies that serve Region 14 ESC schools. These agencies can offer onsite Youth Mental Health training.
