Genius Hour is time set aside to follow your own passions and work on your creativity skills. Genius Hour takes place during class time. Students are encouraged to solve a problem, explore an interesting topic, and answer an essential question during a set time at school.

Genius Hour first began when Google allowed their employees to work on a passion project. Each week, Google employees take a Genius Hour — 60 minutes to work on new ideas or master new skills. Some of their best creations are being used today!
