Balloon Float Due: November 29th
Dear Families,
Welcome to our first Family STEM challenge of the school year! Your child's task is to construct a balloon float. To begin, please listen to the story Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet.
Tour the Macy's Parade Studio
Here is a behind the scenes look on what goes on when putting together the actual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Suggested Balloon Materials:
1 balloon
scissors and tape
construction paper
markers or crayons
other decorations for the balloon(string, ribbon, etc)
popsicle sticks and straws
balloon sticks (optional)
Due November 29th
Bring your finished product to school to share and participate in our very own Balloon Float Parade!
