black history month 🕊

Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about black history month and the people who were famous in their time.

We have also completed some artwork inspired by Louis Mailou Jones. Her artwork  was famous for including African tribe symbols. We then created our own to express our hobbies and interests.

Iron Man by Ted Hughes

Our current class novel is Iron Man by Ted Hughes. Everyone in class loves reading Iron Man because it is really interesting and has lots of details describing the characters. It is about a mysterious iron robot that fell of the cliff and then it fixes itself.  He can't find his metal ear so he trots into the sea to look for it. It is full of suspense and keeps us on the edge of our seat!Â
