Halloween 2023

The pupils wanted to share some of the activities they were doing to get into the Halloween spirit.

Pumpkin Patch

The house challenge pumpkin patch - each house had to do a different theme. Eilean Donan did emojis, Stirling did Trick or Treat, Blair did haunted house and Culzean did a graveyard. The house captains had to set them up in neat rows to display them. Everyone got to go ad see them. The pumpkins were judged and house points were awarded. Eilean Donan won the pumpkin patch house challenge.

Halloween models

We have been using salt dough to create pumpkins and other halloween creations like spooky figures. We had to wait a long time for them to dry. Once they were dry we got to paint them and take them home.

Halloween art

We created art that was inspired by Romero Britto and stain glass and it looked pretty. The art had a big pumpkin in the middle and we filled it with other spooky halloween drawings and bright colours.

Fireworks art

We were creating a city skyline and we had to cut it out and stick it on the paper and we used paint, cottonbuds and paint brushes to create fireworks in the night sky.
