LI: to develop dexterity, creativity and confidence when working with textiles.

I can thread a needle and knot the end.

I can use a variety of stitches to create a design.

I can continue a stitch to create a pattern.

Threading, tying and sewing are all important skills for life.  The class are using their creativity and dexterity to make a bookmark.

We have started our new learning context The Scottish Wars of Independence by writing what we already know and what we would like to find out about. 

LI:  to create work that shows developing skill in using the visual elements.

We created a Zentangle inspired hand.  It was relaxing and a fun way to create a beautiful image.  Zentangle patterns can be viewed from all sides.

Week 6 of SOAR HIGH LEARNING and the children had a fabulous showcase of their work!

We especially enjoyed our instruction writing this week!
