We pulled up the carrots and put onions in. Hannah
It was really fun because we got to plant different things like onions and carrots. Calum
We have had a couple of wonderful debates in class this week.
You should have to wear school uniform.
Animals should not be kept in the zoo.
Debating fosters crucial skill development in areas like critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. These skills enhance personal growth and prepare children for future learning and social interactions.
In our classroom debates the children are required to consider evidence, look at issues from both sides, structure thought and apply reasoning. They practise persuasive speaking skills, listening critically for bias, and arguing in a constructive, non-personal way.
Outdoor PE is just the best in this lovely Spring weather!
We finished off with Poppy leading a game, demonstrating many Meta Skills.
It was also Lois, Emme, Emma and Summer who had the idea but they asked me to lead it. There was a lot of focusing involved and I needed to use my leadership skills to keep everyone on track. It was hard but it was fun. Poppy
We loved Poppy's new game - it was really fun and I cannot wait until next term to play it again. Megan
Our final Mandarin lesson this week.
It was really fun learning Mandarin and it taught me a lot of cool things like greetings, days of the week, numbers and food and drinks. Lewis
