We got a visit from a Dental Nurse, she was talking to us about how important it is that we brush our teeth for at least two minutes twice a day! She was also telling us about healthy snacks that we can eat at break time, we even get a house point if we bring one in. She was so impressed with how well the Primary 2's have been brushing their teeth every day.  G said "I love brushing my teeth in school everyday". A " I like getting a house point for bringing in a healthy snack, I ask my Mum to give me healthy things everyday".

We have been exploring Sports and how this has changed throughout the years.

Some of us are so excited to watch the Football games for the next few months. We are hopeful that Scotland will make it out of the group stages this time :)

Within our topic and Literacy the children were working in teams to create their own sport. The children had amazing ideas such as 'Football Tennis and Footgolf'. I was so impressed with the team work as the groups were able to come up with rules and equipment needed.

As the Euros are starting this week. Miss Doyle has given us all a team to support. We got to colour in the flags and learn about their football team.
