Women Girl-Led Organizations
First Response Fund partners with hundreds of women and girl-led organizations working in crisis settings across the globe, including Sudan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Democratic Republic of Congo. For security reasons, these partners are not listed.
Feminist and Women’s Funds
First Response Fund partners with members of Prospera, the International Network of Women’s Funds, as well as other allied feminist funds. Prospera is a global network of women’s and feminist funds that collectively work to resource, strengthen and accompany feminist movements worldwide. Founded in 2000, Prospera brings together 49 autonomous women’s and feminist funds that provide flexible, long-term funding and strategic support to grassroots movements led by women and girls in all their diversity, primarily across the Global South and East. In 2024, Prospera’s members made 7,728 grants totalling over USD 120 million, reaching movements and organizations in 174 countries and territories.

First Response Fund Design Group
First Response Fund was designed in partnership with women and girl-led organizations, women’s and feminist funds, donors, and humanitarian response agencies. This process was led by the First Response Fund Design Group, a collaborative partnership among twelve women’s and feminist funds and Prospera, the International Network of Women’s Funds:
