PRIOR TO REGISTERING AT VERNON BARFORD
Students who wish to be in the G&T program must be coded Gifted and Talented by their elementary school prior to March 6, 2023. Vernon Barford DOES NOT do this testing as G&T coding needs to be in place prior to registering for junior high.
Parents must communicate their desire to have their child attend the G&T program at Vernon Barford to the administration of their elementary school.
Should your child meet the coding requirements, they are guaranteed a G&T placement in EDMONTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS, but not necessarily at Vernon Barford.
