Ross Sheppard has hosted this tournament since 1989 to showcase local and travelling high school rugby teams.   This is an amazing opportunity for athletes to take part in multiple games and hone their crafts prior to their season starting.

The tournament offers teams the opportunity to play in front of Ross Sheppard staff and students while also having everyone enjoy the festivities with food trucks and other great venues near the school.

May 9-10, 2025 at Ross Sheppard High School located on 13546 111 Ave NW.  

Format

Entry

Spectators are allowed to watch all games free of charge.  Bring your weather permitting clothing, lawn chairs and enjoy the action!

Game Information

All games will be played at Coronation Park Soccer Fields directly north of Ross Sheppard High School.

• Games consist of two, 20 minute halves, with a 5 minute half time.  

• Substitutions will be allowed freely upon permission from the referee, as long as game play is not interrupted. 

• Mouth guards are mandatory.

• Change rooms and washrooms are located in the school.

• We will have an Athletic Therapist available throughout the tournament as well as sport’s medicine students who are also trained to tape and support injuries.

• There will be a first aid tent open throughout the event.

Coaches’ Hospitality

Snacks and drinks will be available to all coaches throughout the tournament in the first aid tent.
